The PalletID.info system provides the missing link in the pallet Supply Chain cycle by facilitating the return of pallets back to the original supplier. Instead of losing track of your pallets after they are shipped, PalletID helps identify the facility that can reuse and recycle that pallet.  Every pallet returned for reuse saves money and provides the additional benefit of helping the environment and reducing your carbon footprint.

How the System Works

The first step in the process is to contact us to receive a unique Pallet I.D. A PalletID number will be assigned and a detailed record created for each registered pallet.  You provide the return criteria that will be provided when your palletID is viewed at www.palletID.info.

There is typically no cost to apply the PalletID identifier logo if you are already stenciling your pallets.

The hardware to mark a pallet via a stamp, brand or stencil can be purchased by calling (800) 611-8964.

When pallet receivers and recyclers find pallets with one of our unique PalletID numbers they call or login to the www.PalletID.info website to learn the return policies for the identified pallet. If the details for this pallet provide criteria for returning and the receiver can meet quantity or quality thresholds then arrangements can be made for the pallets’ return to the noted supplier.

PalletID Saves Money

The price of a new pallet is significantly higher than using recovered or repaired pallets.  PalletID offers an efficient process for finding and returning pallets by providing a simple mechanism for pallet receivers and recyclers to post their PalletID inventory.

Your PalletID representative can work with multiple receivers and recyclers to consolidate recovered pallets and return them to you at a reasonable cost.

Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

Every pallet that gets lost in the pallet Supply Chain results in a new pallet being produced. Without an effective process for directing used pallets back to the original shipper, more pallets are produced. New pallets use significant natural resources, from harvested trees to energy for transportation and processing. Old pallets that are not returned to the original shipper place an additional burden on the waste stream.

Call (800) 611-8964 to find out how to get your pallets registered in the PalletID system.
