What is PalletID?

PalletID is a patented method that uses a unique pallet identification online system to facilitate the return of identified pallets back to the original shipper. Benefits accrue when pallets are collected, repaired and reused.

Pallets are labeled with the PalletID mark that provides a unique identification and a reference to www.PalletID.info so that recovered pallets can efficiently be returned.

Pallets that disappear in the supply chain cost a shipper real money and increase demand on the natural resources. Shippers that reuse PalletID-marked pallets save money by reducing the need for new pallets, and save trees by limiting the use of virgin timber. Pallets that can be linked back to the original shipper are a valuable source of revenue to a receiver. Receivers that return PalletID-marked pallets to the original shipper earn more money from those pallets and reduce the number of pallets going into the waste stream.
